Terms of Service
The rules for using Paws at You, an independent pet video tool.
Last updated: 2026-11-04
What this service is
Paws at You is an independent fan tool. You upload one photo of your own pet and, when you choose to start a video, we ask an AI video service to turn it into a 5-second vertical clip of that pet reaching toward the camera. The still image editor runs in your browser and is free.
We are not the photographer, the zoo, the animals' keepers, or the original creators of the paws at you meme. We have no connection to any PAWS token or crypto project.
Accounts
You can sign in with Google or with a one time code sent to your email. Sign in is handled by OneAuth, our authentication service. Keep access to your email account secure, because it controls access to your Paws at You account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Credits and payment
Video generation is paid. We sell one time credit packs. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The current packs and prices are shown on the pricing page, and 25 credits are used for each 5-second video. Credits are taken when a video job starts, not when you open the editor.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Prices are in US dollars and may change for future purchases. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not a bank or stored value account.
Failed jobs and refunds
If a video job is confirmed as failed, the credits for that job are returned to your credit balance automatically. That is a credit balance correction, not a cash refund.
Sometimes a submission is accepted by an upstream provider but we never receive a clear result. That state is unknown, not failed. Unknown jobs are reviewed by hand. We do not automatically resubmit them, and we do not automatically refund them. A job that was charged and is still unknown is not a confirmed failure. If you think a job is stuck, contact support and include the creation details shown in My creations.
Your photos and generated videos
You keep the rights you already hold in the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process those photos, and to send them to the services described in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to create the video you asked for and to show the result to you. We do not claim ownership of your photos.
Only upload photos of your own pet, or photos you have permission to use. Do not upload photos of people, children, or someone else's pet without permission, and do not upload explicit or illegal content. The generator is built for pet photos and has no human mode.
Results are generated by AI and are labelled that way in the interface. We do not promise that output is unique, accurate, or free of third party rights, and we do not grant you a commercial licence or legal clearance for it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Paws at You to break the law, to harass or defraud anyone, to upload content you have no right to use, to present generated output as a real recording of your pet, to probe or overload our systems, or to resell access to the service.
Availability and changes
We may change, pause, or stop parts of the service. We aim to keep the product working, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular generation speed, or that any model or style will stay available.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or creates risk for other people or for the service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and a material change will be visible here before it applies to new purchases.
