Privacy Policy

What Paws at You collects, where your pet photos go, and how to reach us.

Last updated: 2026-11-04

Scope

This policy covers Paws at You, an independent pet video tool. It explains what we handle when you use the free still editor, sign in, buy credits, or generate a video.

What we handle

  • Account details. Your email address and basic profile details from Google or from the email one time code you use to sign in. Authentication is hosted by OneAuth.
  • Credits and orders. Which credit pack you bought, the amount, and the payment status. Card data is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
  • Pet photos you upload. A photo is uploaded only when you explicitly start a paid video generation. The free still editor runs in your browser and never uploads your photo.
  • Generated videos. The finished MP4 and the job details shown in My creations.
  • Support messages. What you send through the chat widget on this site.
  • Technical and usage data. Basic request data processed by our hosting and storage providers on Cloudflare, and product events recorded by Plausible, such as editor use, job started, and job failed.
  • Browser storage. A draft of your editor work is kept in your browser: the photo in IndexedDB and small settings in localStorage. It stays on your device, and clearing site data removes it.

Our Plausible events do not include your photo, your prompt text, or your email address.

Where your photo and video go

When you start a video, your photo is stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage and sent through the AIAPI gateway to the video model provider that runs the job, currently Grok Imagine or MiniMax H3, operated by their respective providers. The finished video is stored in Cloudflare R2 so it can be shown and downloaded.

Uploaded photos and finished videos are served from media URLs. Anyone who has one of those URLs can open the file. We do not describe these links as private or access controlled, so share them the way you would share any public link.

Why we handle it

We use this data to run the service you asked for: sign you in, apply credits, create and deliver your video, show your history, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and keep the service working. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers needed to run the product: OneAuth for sign in, Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and storage, AIAPI and its video model provider for generation, Plausible for analytics, and OnlineChat for support. We also share data where the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account data, and you can ask how your photos are handled, by contacting support through the chat widget. We handle these requests directly. There is no self service delete button in the product today, so a deletion request is processed by a person and may require us to confirm your identity.

Security

We use HTTPS in transit, access controls, and provider side security for the services we rely on. No online service can promise perfect security.

Children

Paws at You is for adults. The generator is built for pet photos, and photos of people, including children, are not allowed.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material, it will be visible here before it applies to new activity.

Contact

The fastest route is the chat widget on this site. You can also open the hosted support page.
